Larry Herbert

Larry Herbert (M.Ed. ’75 Engl Ed) has an article featured in the January/February 2017 issue of Hearing Loss magazine, a publication of the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA). The article is about the installation of hearing loops (assistive listening systems for people with hearing loss) in the UVA Rotunda. A celebratory event was held on November 16, 2016, in the Dome Room of the Rotunda with students from the Curry School’s speech pathology program  in attendance. Faculty member Kristin Rousch helped to coordinate the event. HLAA is the nation’s largest advocacy, educational, and support group for people with hearing loss.
