“I earned my M.Ed. in Special Education in 1975 working with renowned professors Jim Kauffman and Gerry Wallace. It was the beginning of the field of learning disabilities and how to teach to different strengths to ensure students’ success. Thanks to Kauffman and Wallace, I have carried knowledge, thoughtful insights, and progressive approaches about how children learn with me throughout my 43-year career.”
