Curry Class Note

Julia Thompson

Julia Thompson (M.Ed. ’87 Soc Fdns) since retiring from teaching at Woodrow Wilson High School in Washington, DC, three years ago, I have been teaching English full time at Paul VI Catholic High School in Fairfax, Va. My husband and I are in the process of buying a home in Crozet, west of Charlottesville, and once we are ensconced there in a year or two, I hope to return to Siberia in summers to teach and to work in some orphanages. I am almost finished with my 16-chapter novel Red Skies Over Oak Ridge and will begin marketing it soon—a novel which began with a sudden idea flashing into my brain, with the remainder of the plot emerging similarly a couple years later.
